Function of Voltage Boosters:
Many receivers and servos need 5-6 volts for correct operation. In some classes (1/12 On Road, Rock Crawler, micro models, ...) with using only one lithium cell the voltage is not high enough and that can lead to failures, damage to equipment and people.
There is the need for the voltage booster, it provides stable 5.9 volts to the on-board electronics.
