Losi/GRP/Nitrotane driver Mike Truhe nearly brought home a World Championship with the new 8IGHT 2.0 at the 2008 IFMAR Worlds hosted by The Farm II in Charlotte, NC. Truhe dominated Thursday qualifying rounds TQ'ing rounds three, four and five with his Team Losi Racing 8IGHT 2.0 Buggy Race Roller, making him overall Top Qualifier for the event. The 2008 ROAR National Champion was clearly the driver to beat throughout the week. Mike's first ever World's appearance netted an outstanding 2nd place finish as he continually outpaced 220 of the world's best drivers.
